The Forest Department's experiment of growing natural forests from seeds falling from trees in Punjab has been successful. With this experiment, a record 4 million new plants have sprouted in the dense forests of Rawalpindi, which are now bigger and safer. Under this, a new mega project has been prepared to grow 2.5 crore plants in the forests of Punjab under natural system which is being implemented in August-September this year.

Saqib Mehmood Sheikh, Nazim of Forests, North Circle, told The Express that every year a large number of seeds fall from the trees which were lost due to weeds and weeds. In February, March and April this year, In the forests of Ghora Gali, Lehtrad and Klar Syedan, under such large trees, a thorough cleaning was done.
